Our Story

Cookie Jar Cannabis is a family-owned, I-502 licensed craft cannabis grower based in Bellingham, Washington.

We specialize in elite genetics and original, house-bred cultivars developed, grown, and processed with natural, low-carbon, pesticide-free methods.

Partnering with the finest stores and dispensaries in the state, we offer exclusive Emerald Triangle, West Coast, Land Race, Medical Grade, and Underground genetics to medical and recreational consumers of all levels.

While our aim is to bring to market the highest quality cannabis products we can, at our core we are a family company founded on values that persist to this day. Namely, creating products that are as kind to nature as they are to anyone who wishes to imbibe

Our Processes

Flower

In-House Breeds: You won’t find other versions of our strains grown by multiple growers. All of our breeds are developed in-house.

Coconut Growing Medium: We only use natural, organic materials like sustainable coconut growing mediums for our plants.

5-Stage Filtered Water: We water our plants using the highest quality, 5-stage filters to remove dangerous additives or substances.

Pesticide and Fungicide Free: All of our products are pesticide and fungicide free for the cleanest, healthiest experience possible.

Concentrates

We partner with Alpenglow Extracts to develop some of the finest extracts in Washington State.  The combination of flower grown by Cookie Jar with the expertise and methods of Alpenglow Extracts produce these products:

  • Live Resin Diamonds
  • Terp Dough
  • Terp Sauce
  • Vape cartridges

Processing and packaging

We hand-trim all flower, and package to order.  We use food-grade glass jars to better preserve the flower inside.  We encourage re-use and recycling of the jars by customers by limiting the labels and stickers on the jars. We use recyclable joint tubes, but have introduced Baker’s Dozen (13-packs) and 5-packs in glass jars to reduce the use of the joint tubes.

Advocacy

We believe that we have a responsibility to give back some of our revenues to support causes we believe in.  We’ve held raffles to name strains and donated proceeds to various organizations.
